In this section they are available some lessons that offer a picture of the historical, political and institutional situation of the European union through the voice of the main protagonists (political personality , diplomatic, representatives of the community institutions and exponents of the academic world), after the processes of widening and revision of the Treaties that is concluded in October of 2004 with the signature to Rome of the European Constitution:

Filippo Maria Pandolfi, Vice-President of the European Commission from 1989 to 1993 and also many times Minister of the Italian Government since 1976
Pier Virgilio Dastoli, a pupil of Altiero Spinelli and currently Director of the Representation of the European Commission in Italy
Romano Prodi, President of the European Commission from 1999 to 2004 and at present Italian Prime Minister
Rocco Cangelosi, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Italy at the EU
Carlo Curti Gialdino, Professor of Community Law and Vice President of the Istituto di Studi Europei “A. De Gasperi”
Franco Frattini, former Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and at present Vice-President of the European Commission and Commissioner responsible for the European Area of Freedom, Security and Justice
Beniamino Caravita, Professor of Public Law; he worked on European citizenship and on the protection of the fundamental rights
Mario Monti, President of “Bocconi” University of Milan (Italy), former European Commissioner for Internal Market from 1995 to 1999 and then for Competition policy from 1999 to 2004

These are the thematic index in which the lessons are separated: the History of the union; the Institutions of the union; the Countries of the union; the Great themes of the union.

A questionnaire is available to verify own preparation for the quiz competition. Selecting the key “participates to the quiz”, will be proposed 20 questions. At the end, the student will receive a report with the indication of the correct answers. It is possible to repeat the quiz, with different questions, for a maximum of three times.
